3 c. unsifted flour
1 jar (16 oz.) applesauce
1 c. sugar
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. milk
2 t. baking soda
2 t. ground cinnamon
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. ground nutmeg
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins
Grease and flour a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. In large bowl, beat all ingredients except nuts and raisins just until blended. Beat 2 minutes. Stir in walnuts and raisins. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool slightly in pan. Serve warm with ice cream.
