Raspberry Walnut Shortbread Bars

1-1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. raspberry jam
2 eggs
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
2 T. flour
1/8 t. salt
1/8 t. baking soda
1 c. chopped walnuts

Combine 1-1/4 c. flour with sugar. Cut in butter until mixture is like meal. Press into bottom of lightly greased 9" square pan to make an even layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Remove from oven. Spread jam evenly over.

Beat eggs with brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in 2 T. flour mixed with salt and baking soda. Add walnuts. Spoon over jam and spread to edges of pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until top is set. Cool and cut into bars.

Makes 24 bars.
