5 lbs. apples (any kind), peeled, cored, and cut into chunks
1-3/4 c. sugar
1/2 t. ground cinnamon
1/2 t. kosher salt
1/4 t. ground nutmeg
1/4 t. ground ginger
2 c. apple cider
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
Add apples, sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, ginger, apple cider, and lemon juice to slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1-1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Set the lid slightly ajar and continue cooking 7-9 hours. Stir and refrigerate. Will keep up to 3 weeks.
