Green Onion Pie

1 unbaked 9" pie shell
3 c. green onions, sliced
3 T. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. light cream
2 t. salt
1/2 t. nutmeg

Lightly saute onions in butter. Pour into pie shell.

In a mixing bowl, blend beaten eggs, cream, salt, and nutmeg. Pour over onions. Bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes until pie is set.

Makes 1 pie.
