Deb's Mom's Coffee Cake

1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
2 t. baking powder
1 t. cinnamon
1 c. milk
1 T. butter, melted
Additional butter, cinnamon and sugar for topping

Mix dry ingredients. Add milk and butter. Mix well. Pour into greased 8" round pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.

While cake is still warm, rub the end of a stick of butter over the top or spread lightly with butter. Mix a little cinnamon and sugar, and sprinkle mixture over top of cake.

Can also sprinkle berries on top of batter and increase baking time slightly.
