House Dressing

3/4 c. cottage cheese
1/2 c. buttermilk, sour cream, or yogurt
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 t. Italian seasoning
1/4 t. black pepper
1 green onion, chopped
1 T. chopped sun-dried tomatoes (optional)

Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Process or blend until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl, cover, and chill until ready to use.

Makes about 1-1/2 cups.

Note: This recipe is very adaptable. The sun-dried tomatoes make it fancy. Make it more robust by adding some garlic. Lighten it by using low-fat cheeses.
