Overnight Slow-Cooker Grits

2 c. stone-ground grits
1/2 c. melted butter
1 T. kosher salt
6 c. water

Stir together grits, butter and salt in slow cooker. Stir in water. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours. Stir just before serving.

Note: For quicker grits, cook on HIGH 4 hours.

Makes about 8 cups.
