Crust:
1 Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust, softened as directed on box
Filling:
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
3/4 c. corn syrup
1/8 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
3 eggs, slightly beaten
4 Nature Valley oats 'n honey crunchy granola bars (2 pouches from 8.9-oz. box), crushed (3/4 c.)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. quick-cooking or old fashioned oats
1/4 c. chocolate chips
Garnish, if desired
Whipped cream or ice cream
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place pie crust in 9-inch glass pie plate as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie.
In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High 50-60 seconds or until melted. Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup until blended. Beat in salt, vanilla, and eggs. Stir in remaining filling ingredients.
Pour filling into crust-lined pie plate. Cover crust edge with 2-3-inch wide strips of foil to prevent excessive browning.
Bake 40-50 minutes or until filling is set and crust is golden brown; remove foil during last 15 minutes of bake time. Cool at least 30 minutes. Serve warm, at room temperature or chilled with whipped cream. Cover any refrigerate any remaining pie.
